MEET THE PARTNERS: THE NATIONAL ARTS CENTRE ORCHESTRA AND RADIANCE
with a word from Marie-Chantale Labbé Jacques on the newly forged partnership
The National Arts Centre Orchestra issued a call for tenders to manage their advertising campaign for the 2019–2020 season, which ended in the NACO choosing Radiance and Substance as their maestros.
The National Arts Centre is located in Ottawa and has the distinction of being the only bilingual multidisciplinary performing arts centre in Canada! Its mission is to develop, share and showcase culture in addition to fostering local creativity.
The NAC is a triple threat: theatre (French, English, Indigenous), dance and music, of course, care of the orchestra.
Music is intrinsic to the culture at Radiance. We portray our core values in the form of musical instruments and by way of a playlist that embodies them (performance, innovation, passion, authenticity, solidarity).
That’s why we’ve dusted off our instruments, tuned our violins, and warmed up our voices. When it comes to our work with the National Arts Centre Orchestra, we know the score by heart and we’re not about to hit a bum note!
"NACO’s Marketing and Communications team is thrilled about the new partnership with Substance and Radiance. The challenges facing performing arts presenters are great, especially with classical music, and we’re confident we’ve found an outfit that is up to snuff.
We can’t wait to implement new digital strategies and measure the results—perhaps we’ll become a reference for other arts organizations in Canada who have similar obstacles to overcome.”
–Marie-Chantale Labbé Jacques, Marketing Officer at NACO.
